Responsibilities of Volunteers
- Children re not allowed to be left unattended at any time. Relief is available and can be arranged when required.
- Our camp is staffed with a clinic psychologist and any problems should be addresses to her. Volunteers are not to physically reprimand a child at any time.
- Our camp is based on the fundamental principle that children are to explore and develop personally and socially. All activities are aimed at this goal. Each volunteer is expected to participate in each activity assigned to his/her group, even if it isn't a favorite activity.
- All volunteers are expected to support and assist as required.
- We are pleased to offer you a smoke free environment.
- Illicit drugs at camp are prohibited.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Be available to your group.
- Spend time with individuals in your group and get to know them well.
- Follow-Up with any problems, conflicts, etc.
- Campers come first. Staff is at camp to make certain that campers enjoy themselves and participate fully in the program.
- Share camper problems and situations that are important with the appropriate committee member.
